On April 9th, I set up everything to make a new lid. As I mentioned earlier, the plaster and sand mixture cracks easily, and the lids break left and right. This time, I decided to change up the mixture a bit to see if I could produce a stronger lid. I completely eyeballed the ratio of sand and plaster, and I believe I used more sand than plaster, contrary to what I usually do.

I know its been quite a while since my last blog post, but I have a lot to update.
I have made a lot of progress on my forge I general, and I am going to break this post up into a couple different posts with hopes to keep it simplified. Also, in my previous post, I said that I was going to try and put different updates on different pages, but that seems too complicated, and I'm going to try and keep it simple. With everything that has been going on these last couple of weeks, life has been pretty chaotic and unpredictable. With online learning starting up tomorrow, I have no idea what to expect for the rest of the week.
That being said, I am going to do what I can to make progress and see where it goes. The first thing on my agenda is going to be rewiring my Styrofoam cutter. I am going to try and add a page on the website for each "individual project" so that it will be easier to record my progress. More information about the process of rewiring will be wherever that page ends up. Last thing. I don't know how well I am explaining everything. Let me know where I can better explain things and what clarification is needed. More updates later on. Stay safe! |
